The Eheim Liberty 200 is the largest model they make for HOB use. It is also available in the 100 [20 gallon tank] and 150 size [35 gallon tank].
You can buy the phenol-free cellular foam cartridges [sponges which last forever] and the 3-D carbon cartridges made for the Eheim or use your own mix of media. The cartridges fit all three models. There is plenty of room in the filter box.

The red knob adjusts the flow of water.
The media slides in from the top. I keep a bag of purigen in this filter.

The sponges can hold a lot of gunk. I have been lax and not cleaned this one in over a month. You can pull the sponge off the plastic frame to clean or swish and squeeze on the frame just as well.

The impeller pulls out for cleaning.
Intake pulls out easily as well.
Cleaned and ready to be reassembled.
Typically it takes a few minutes to swish the filters in some dechlorinated tank water. Once a month to six weeks I clean the impeller and filter box.
