Goldfish and Aquarium Board - About Us

DebG

Hello, I’m Deb (or Deborah). I am a lover of all animals and have kept many of them in my lifetime, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, horses, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, snakes, turtles, hamsters, veiled chameleon, mice, gerbils, and I’m sure I’ve overlooked something else.

I kept fish many years ago, including cichlids and the usual community-type fish. I didn’t have fish for a long time until this past year when we decided to “get a few goldfish” for my little grandson. I had never kept fancy goldfish, so I set out to learn everything I could about them. Searching the internet for information led me to GAB and I have been here ever since. This is a wonderful site full of great information and terrific people.

I currently have two fancy goldfish tanks (90 gallon & 29 gallon), a betta sorority tank (28 gallon), a quarantine tank (10 gallon), and a couple of natural planted male betta tanks. All of my tanks have live plants and snails, and I feed a variety of foods.
