My name is Hilda and I have kept goldfish for almost 5 yrs now. If not for the GAB, I would have given up the first year.

I love pearlies and dream of owning a huge tank filled with these personable goof balls. I walked into an Open House the other day and saw the shower stall in the bathroom and immediately thought, "Now wouldn't THIS make a nice tank!" The all glass shower took up half the room so it must fill at least 1,000 gallons. :greensmile

I truly believe that good fish husbandry starts with good water and a proper diet to give these wonderful creatures an opportunity to thrive.

The first thing after I stumble out of bed in the morning is say "Hi guys!" to my goldies. They in turn all wiggle their butts to the corner of the tank and wiggle some more in hopes that pushing against the tank will get them breakfast faster. Now, how good a sight is that!

I live in San Francisco and wouldn't consider moving anywhere else, anymore. I've lived in other places but always came back.
