Hi, I’m Deb (or Deborah). I love all animals and have kept many of them, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, horses, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, snakes, turtles, hamsters, veiled chameleon, mice, gerbils, and I’m sure I’ve overlooked something else.
I kept fish many years ago, including cichlids and the usual community fish, then didn’t keep any for a long time until a few years ago when we decided to “get a few goldfish” for my little grandson. I had never kept fancy goldfish, so I set out to learn everything I could about them. Searching the internet for information led me to GAB and I have been here ever since. This is a wonderful site full of great information and caring people.
One goldfish tank quickIy became multiple tanks and I currently have around 16 tanks, including a 90g goldie tank, 55g planted angel/community tank, various tanks of cichlids, plecos, killies, trops, and lots of individual male betta tanks. I'm a big fan of live plants and all my tanks have them (low tech).
